BeFriender Ministry – BeFrienders are trained lay parishioners who visit people from Divine
Mercy who are lonely, grieving, dealing with job loss, or struggling with a difficult life situation.
Hospital
Eucharistic Ministry
– bring Eucharist to hospital and pray with patients.
Homebound
Eucharistic Ministry
– bring Eucharist
to people who are not able to get to
Church.
Funeral Ministry: Wake vigil Presider, Funeral
server, and
Funeral hospitality.
Memorial Mass in November close to All Souls Day. We will have a beautiful candle lighting ceremony at which time the names of all who have died for the past 2 years will be read aloud.
A September Spiritual retreat is given for all Pastoral Care volunteers. Please check the bulletin in August for details.
Fast and Prayer Day on the 2nd Monday of the month. We fast and pray for those who are sick and conclude with 5:30 Mass at Sacred Heart. If someone is in need of anointing, they can call the office for more information.
