A
look at OUR PRESCHOOL
We offer 2,3, and 5-day
morning options in our
pre-school program, which is designed to enhance the natural growth and
development of younger pre-kindergarten children. Our learning initiatives focus on socialization skills in a
loving Christian atmosphere that fosters participation and song.
A variety of children’s literature is used to introduce theme and
readiness skills, such as letter recognition, as well as numeral and counting
skills. Physical activity is
incorporated into our pre-school curriculum to help develop large and small
motor skills.
Extended
Care for Preschool: We are now, also offering extended preschool,
an extended care option for your preschool children. Extended Day Preschool is a
continuation of the preschool class. This program is intended to continue
providing a positive, loving environment where your child can learn, play,
and grow in the knowledge of God, friendship, and his/her environment.
Program hours are 7:15 to 5:15 p.m. Drop in rate is $5 per hour.

Linda
Gamble -
Linda
is a licensed elementary teacher with a kindergarten teaching endorsement.
She received her B.S. from
Winona
State
University. Linda taught at K.I.D.S. Preschool, Inc. for 4
years prior to joining our staff.
Cecile
Dokkestul - Began
teaching at DMCS in 2009, however, she is an alumni of our school and
graduate of Bethlehem Academy. She received her BA from the University of
Wisconsin, River Falls, in Elementary Education and also has an early
childhood minor.

Time: 8:15 - 10:55 a.m. (3 yr-olds)
In
this class, our youngest preschoolers are introduced to school life
through a variety of activities and experiences.

Day AM- Monday, Wednesday & Friday - (7:50 - 8:15 drop off
extended) Class
Time: 8:15 - 10:55
a.m. (3, 4 & 5 yr-olds)
Group
learning activities are introduced in this three-day program, centered
around themes. This approach is enhanced and reinforced in learning
centers.

Day - Mornings or Afternoons - 8:15 - 11:10 a.m. program or 12:15 to
3:10 p.m. program
(4 & 5 yr-olds)
The
five day preschool program uses a literature based curriculum, with emphasis
in Christian values. This class is typically designed for kindergarten
preparation.
Extended
Day Preschool Care: 7:15 to 5:15 (as needed)
Extended
preschool care is additional care for our youngest learners. When you
enroll in extended preschool care, your child is able to stay in our
loving, nurturing environment for the remainder of the day, up until 5:15
