The Mission of Advancement :

The meaningful involvement of people in our mission and vision for the future.

At Divine Mercy Catholic School, we seek to advance our school by increasing the circle of support through gifts of time, talent, and treasure. We seek the daily prayers of our alumni, parents, parish, students, and all of those connected to our school. Our future, our students, depends on you, and the many ways your support our school.

How Can I Support Divine Mercy Catholic School?

Divine Mercy Catholic School calls on you to support us through prayer, and gifts of time, talent, and treasure. Here are several direct ways that you can support the students at DMCS.

Pray Daily
Volunteer - office, library, classroom, or at special events
Business Support - businesses are invited to partner with DMCS in the education of our students through event sponsorship or donated items for our various events. In turn, we will connect you through multiple avenues to our families of our school, our parish, and our alumni.
Scrip - Purchase Scrip gift cards at our school for all of your shopping needs and your credit can be designated to a family in need.
Gifts of Treasure - Donations are accepted through multiple avenues. We invite you to support us in the following ways:

Annual Fund Angels - Our annual fund supports the daily operating costs of our school, such as teacher and staff salaries, textbooks, heating and electric bills, and all of our operating expenses. As our expenses continue to increase, we look to grow our annual gifts, and turn to you. Gifts to the annual fund can be made once a year, multiple times, or you may be set up to give monthly. We thank you for your generous support to our annual fund.

DMCS Scholarship Endowment Disciples - In 2008, thanks to an anonymous donor, we created our first Divine Mercy Catholic School Scholarship Endowment. Gifts to the endowment support Divine Mercy Catholic School today, tomorrow, and twenty years from now. It is critical to grow our endowment, that will allow us to teach in the Catholic tradition for many years to come. When making a gift to our endowment, please denote - DMCS Scholarship Endowment.

Scholarship Saints - Annually, we ask our benefactors to help us provide scholarships to our families in need of tuition assistance. We also host an annual "Scholarship Night" event. All gifts donated to our scholarship fund go directly to students for that year's tuition. This year, we had over $184,000 of need, with only $80,000 to disburse. Gifts to our scholarship fund are an important part of our advancement program.

Planned Gifts - Divine Mercy Catholic School encourages donors to make planned gifts. There are several ways to make a planned gift, and we encourage you to talk with us to find out what gift might be best for your family.
