We love having parents
volunteer throughout the year and encourage you to get involved! The safety of
your child is important to us at Divine Mercy Catholic School. Through the
Archdiocese of Minneapolis and St. Paul, we offer several methods to keep our
children safe. There are several committees to join, as well as annual
events and fundraisers to assist with. Visit our "Committee's"
page to learn about school groups.
All parents wishing to volunteer must take the following few
steps:
1) Virtus Training

and place.
2) Background Check - a
background check is done on all volunteers to ensure of no criminal history. In
order to volunteer at Divine Mercy Catholic School, a background check must be
done. (Download ALL of these forms, complete, and bring to our office: Release

3) Volunteer Code of
Conduct - all volunteers at Divine Mercy Catholic School must sign the
"Volunteer Code of Conduct." This form reviews what we expect of our

Return your forms to the
school office.
Next Virtus
training for all parents who have not had Virtus, but wish to volunteer is Sept.
21 at the new church. To
pre-register for a VIRTUS session, please follow these steps:
1.
Go to www.virtus.org
2.
Click on the “Registration” link in the
left-hand column
3.
Select “
Saint Paul
and
Minneapolis
(Archdiocese)” from the drop-down
4.
Create your own “User ID” and “Password”
5.
Follow the screen prompts to continue the on-line
registration
