Dear Parents,

         

Each student is assigned a four digit number which will be entered as they are passing through the lunch line to record into the family account.  Record sheets are turned in by each classroom indicating each milk or snack purchased, which also is entered into each account. 

 

The price for lunch is $1.85 which includes milk.  A variety of  snacks will be offered along with milk or juice each morning in the classroom. The cost per snack is $.45 cents.  The charge for milk is $.35 cents.  The total cost for one day for lunch and the milk/snack break will be $2.65 and totals $13.25 per person each week. It is recommended that a minimum of $55.00 deposit be sent per student to open your account.

 

The lunch program is separate from all other DMCS accounts.  Please send a separate check for your lunch account in a sealed envelope marked with the family name as well as the student(s) name. I would strongly encourage the use of checks versus cash as the checks are much easier to track.

 

Please return applications for free or reduced lunches as soon as possible.  This program is a benefit available for students who qualify and it provides reimbursed funds to the school lunch program.  All applications are kept confidential.

Dear Preschool Parents;

Each day in Preschool we have a snack. With this snack, your child has a choice of having milk or soy milk(if allergic to milk). The rates for the 2009-2010 school year are:  

5 day session:   $18.00

3 day session:    $13.00

2 day session:    $10.00

   

Please make your check payable to DMCS Milk Money. Please do not include this with your tuition payment. We need a separate check please. Please pay this in the school office by the first day of school.

Kindergarten Parents:

Welcome! DMCS offers a hot lunch program that follows the Minnesota Food and Nutrition Program. The cost of the lunch is $ 1.85 and includes milk. Each family has their own account and each child has a separate lunch number. Each time they eat, the $1.85 is subtracted from the family account. Statements are sent out weekly to keep you informed of your balance.

 

kINDERGARTEN PARENTS - Morning Snack:

A snack is offered in the morning along with milk. The cost of the snack is .45 cents. The milk is covered with the check sent for the kindergarten milk program.

 

We ask that the lunch accounts stay current at all times. The average monthly cost for one child will be $ 45.00. Payments can be given to your Child’s Teacher, the Sacred Heart Office, or the DMCS Business Office. Thank you in advance for participating in school lunch. KINDERGARTEN MILK PROGRAM:

DMCS participates in the Minnesota Kindergarten Milk Program. The program subsidizes a portion of your child’s milk that is served with morning snack. The cost of milk for each child will be $ 18.00 for the school year. Please send the check written to: DMCS-Kindergarten Milk, in an envelope with your child’s name and note it as Kindergarten milk. Please Do Not include this with your lunch or tuition payment….it needs to be separate.
