“We
can never love our neighbor too much.”
St.
Francis de Sale
Think
back to December 23rd…
Do you remember the feelings of anticipation that you had for
Christmas Day? What
would the celebrations look like? What
unexpected gifts would be under the tree?
Would the kids be surprised by the packages left by Santa?
I feel that same joyful sense of anticipation as we look forward
to Saturday evening. The
Scholarship Night committee has done a fantastic job in preparing for a
truly spectacular evening. The
school will be beautifully decorated, the food exquisite, the music
jazzy, and the company terrific. I
can’t wait to experience Scholarship Night.
If you still need tickets, call the main office, 334-7706.
Also, we still have $5 and $25 raffle tickets available.
There are great prizes for the $5 raffle and the prize for the
$25 raffle is $3000. The
more tickets you buy, the better your chances of winning.
Come and celebrate the greatness of our school.
I
am grateful for all of the volunteers who give of their time, talent and
treasure for the benefit of our school.
I am amazed by the constant love that is shown by our families.
Thank you. We will be
honoring our Volunteer of the Year at Scholarship Night.
Thank you also for continuing to value Catholic education.
Thank you for entrusting your children to the school.
Because of your witness of faith, other families have been
inspired to send their students to DMCS.
We recently added 3 new students.
I am so happy to see how the children have welcomed their new
classmates and made them feel a part of the Divine Mercy family.
Your children have been Christ to these new students.
You can be very proud of how generous they have been in extending
hospitality to these new students.
