Families:
As many of you are already aware, the McCarthy family has been
dealing with an accident that has their son Zach in the hospital.
Our school children have been praying for a full and speedy
recovery. The school
community also wanted to help in a temporal way.
We decided to have a dress down day to raise funds for the family
as they drive to and from the Cities during this recovery period.
I am awed by the overwhelming response of our students.
The monies that they raised were indicative of the generosity of
their hearts. I am so
pleased to be able to work with these exceptional students everyday.
I would also ask that you add Jane
Hake to our prayer list. While
driving on Tuesday night to our School Board meeting, she flipped her
car. She totaled her car.
She spent a good portion of Tuesday night at the Emergency Room.
Miraculously she did not break any bones as determined by the
various x-rays. She is very
sore and bruised. Please
pray for a speedy recovery for her.
We appreciate her gracious service to the board.
Please continue to encourage your
children in fostering the attitude of gratitude.
There are many times when we focus on the negative and forget how
many positives there are all around us.
I am grateful especially for the love and support of our priests,
parish and school community. I
am delighted to see the commitment to all of the various school projects
and fundraisers. Thank you
for continuing to give.
We begin our
Catholic Education Fund Drive
. Just like at home, the
bills continue to increase. We
hope as we grow our funds that we can open our doors to more students
with financial needs. I am
thankful for the gift of all our benefactors.
Thank you for financially supporting the mission of bringing
students to Christ.
I continue to pray for all the needs of the community.
I pray that we would continue to follow the lead of God as we
move forward with our projects. I
would love to hear from you all. If
there are ways that we can improve, please let me know.
